Flowers Powering Hope

Beautification by giving!

The sixth annual Flowers Powering Hope was held on Saturday, January 13th at two locations in High Point. Many thanks to everyone who came out to provide donations to our community and pick up flower bulbs and seeds for planting. Our next Flowers Powering Hope event will come early 2025!! Check back for dates and times.

What is Flowers Powering Hope?

Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful annually provides us with hundreds of flowers bulbs that we distribute to our community of High Point. We typically receive tulip bulbs, day lilies, daffodil bulbs and a variety of root stock. We also have a variety of veggie and flower seed packets as well. We ask that you bring a donation of non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items or household cleaning items to exchange for the flower bulbs/seeds and we will make sure the donations are given to a local food pantry in High Point.

If you have any questions, please contact Rebecca Coplin at 336-883-3520 or email

LEAVE the Leaves Contest!

Congratulations to Karen Robinette, the winner of our inaugural Leave the Leaves Contest. We hope you enjoy your prize!

The City of High Point and Keep High Point Beautiful are encouraging you to LEAVE your Leaves. By leaving your leaves to compost in place or mulching them you can help provide habitat for our native pollinators. This also can help prevent soil erosion and provide organic matter to improve your soil.

How does the contest work?

Just visit Keep High Point Beautiful on Instagram or Facebook and tag us with a photo of how you "Leave the Leaves" on your property. We will enter your name in a drawing to win a Bee House! The contest is open now until December 31st. The winning name will be drawing and announced on January 5th.
