[ARCHIVED] Museum and Library Partner to Host Documentary

"Alice's Ordinary People" is a documentary about Alice Tregay - a woman who refused to stand still for injustice and brought others together to change what was. Her remarkable story spans the historic period from the marches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to the election of Barack Obama, and her great contribution in the field of politics is the thread which connects the two. The filmmaker, Craig Dudnik, will discuss the circumstances in Chicago which drew Alice to the movement, and how he came to make the film. A discussion will follow the screening. 

This is a family event that is free and open to the public and all ages are welcome.
