A request for a 2.9-foot variance (front) and a 5.0-foot variance (side) to the residential setback standards of the Residential Single Family - 5 (R-5) district to allow the SF Detached Dwelling to encroach into the front and side setbacks. This variance application is related to Section 3.3.3.B - Dimensional Standards and is filed pursuant to Section 2.4.16 - Variance of the Development Ordinance.
The applicant filed an appeal of the Order to Demolish dated February 22, 2023 (CHP Record No. HV-23-0022) issued by the Code Enforcement Division of the City of High Point Community and Housing Development Department. The Order to Demolish is related to violations of the Minimum Housing Code (Title 9, Article E - City Code of Ordinances) occurring at the property.
