Project WET provides educators a robust water literacy curriculum with hands-on experiences to support well-rounded water education in any classroom. Upon completing the 6 hour workshop, participants receive a full-color, comprehensive guide full of activities, lesson plans, vocabulary, and even interdisciplinary extensions to further support students' understanding of water quality and quantity issues. Project WET is an international program provided through the NC Division of Water Resources, under the Department of Environmental Quality. New and experienced educators are encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is required; the participant fee of $21 is due the day of the workshop.
