The City of High Point Water & Sewer Mains Backflow Device  Testing & Reporting Policy

 

Backflow Device Inspection, Testing & Maintenance

All Backflow Devices in the City of High Point North Carolina are required by the applicable North Carolina adopted Plumbing Code to be inspected tested and maintained on regular intervals.  The purpose of these tests is to ensure the device will operate properly in the event of an incident, ensuring a safe environment by minimizing the risk of life and property loss. 

The City of High Point Water & Sewer Mains Department has contracted with BRYCER, LLC to help manage the Backflow Device inspection, testing and maintenance reporting program. Customers can find a complete list of approved testers HERE.



 
Backflow Devices tracked by the City of High Point Water & Sewer Mains Department include: 

  • Domestic Backflow Devices
  • Irrigation Backflow Devices
  • Fire Backflow Devices

 

Testing Companies who perform inspection, testing and maintenance services of Backflow Devices are required to submit all Passing and Failing test results electronically to the City of High Point Water & Sewer Mains Department on behalf of their customers. via: www.TheComplianceEngine.com.
