Cemeteries

The mission of the Cemetery Division is to respectfully provide necessary and requested services to families in a cost effective manner. We are here to help families locate plots, provide confirmation of plot ownership, and maintain all cemetery grounds. We take pride in our Historic Cemeteries. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Cemetery Office.

The City operates four municipal cemeteries, Oakwood Municipal, Oakwood Memorial, Greenhill Cemetery, and Kersey Valley Cemetery. Oakwood Cemetery is located at 512 Steele Street and covers approximately 30 acres with over 5,000 burials. Greenhill Cemetery is located at 1700 Leonard Avenue with an area of 11 acres which consists of 1,250 burials. Kersey Valley Cemetery is located on Kersey Valley Road and is less than an acre.
