The High Point Parks & Recreation Department offers a wide range of opportunities for individuals and/or groups wanting to become involved in volunteering for the department. Volunteers are a vital part of our department. We greatly appreciate anyone who gives their time to help out in the community!
The opportunities are as varied as your interests and include:
We do ask that volunteers (such as youth coaches, volunteer drivers, class instructors, etc.) fill out a Volunteer Application Form (PDF). This form authorizes the City of High Point to conduct background checks in areas we deem necessary. Please return the completed and signed application to the area you are interested in volunteering with or return it to our administrative office at 136 Northpoint Avenue.
