Introduction & Purpose
The High Point Police Department's Community Division focuses on youth, education and community interests. Officers and civilians work with community partners to reach, educate and engage groups and organizations with the purpose of building relationships and making High Point a safe city.
The Community Division includes the Community Engagement Unit, the School Resource Officers Unit, the Housing Authority Unit, the Special Projects Coordinator, the Police Communications Specialist, the Reserve Unit and Animal Control Officers.
