The Community Engagement Unit builds relationships with community members and community partners through events, programs, presentations and other opportunities throughout the city.
The Unit consists of one lieutenant, one community outreach officer and one community outreach coordinator. The team arranges community outreach events, speaks to local groups, schools and businesses, addresses public safety concerns, and represents the High Point Police Department at various festivals and events.
