If you are preparing high risk food (any meat, fish, eggs, cut leafy greens, cut fruit, cut vegetables, cut cheese) for immediate consumption (catering, charcuterie, individual sale), then you will need a permit from the Guilford County Dept of Public Health.

If you are preparing any food (frozen or canned/sealed) that will be distributed across state lines, then you will need to contact US Dept of Agriculture (via NC DA& CS) to determine if you are regulated by them.
