  • 1999 - High Point Violent Crime Initiative won DEA Administrators Award
  • 1999 - US Department of Justice Southeast Region Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Award
  • 2000 - Top-ten finalist for the Webber Seavey Award given by the International Association of Chiefs of Police
  • 2000 - Finalist for the Herman Goldstein Award given by the Police Executive Research Forum P.E.R.F.
  • 2001 - Won Governor’s Award for Innovation in Community Policing (Large Agency)
  • 2001 - Youth Violence Initiative won the Governor’s Award for innovation in Juvenile Justice Programs
