High Point Parks & Recreation's Special Populations program is a safe and structured resource for individuals with and without disabilities to engage in social, emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritually stimulating recreation and leisure services. Our services are available to residents of the City of High Point as well as residents of surrounding communities.
Special Populations fosters a community-centered approach and an emphasis on strong relationships. It is our pleasure to develop and provide engaging, fulfilling opportunities such as Camp Ann, the Miracle League of High Point and Special Olympics Guilford/High Point. We also offer services such as inclusion support, education and training to individuals, families and community members.
Our focus is on high quality participant experiences in our programs, the achievements of personal goals and living life to the fullest. We strongly believe that all individuals with disabilities and medical conditions have the right - and should be given the opportunity - to participate in programs that promote joy and growth and enhance quality of life. It's our honor to work with our participants, families, volunteers and community partners towards these goals, and we are grateful for your support!
